SO yea... 2019 we were on Freedom of the seas...
SEA ANTIGUA BY SEA
We paid $174 for 2 people on this excursion. We booked through Royal Caribbean excursions in the My Cruise Planner.
We boarded the vessel right on the same dock that we ported into. So the ease f this cruise was wonderful! We hopped onboard the boat and there was a small group of us, maybe 25. This is never seen on a cruise excursion, but I was very happy to have personalized attention! We had done this adventure with another couple who we went on the cruise with!
As we port our of the dock area, our guides were wonderful, they exlained about the island, its heritage etc. They began to start telling us about the area and the housing market, the owners of these
amazing estates and resorts. We cruised for about 1 hour and we went into this small inlet and we beached the boat. A small PRIVATE beach, only a few chairs. We had the option to go on a 45 min snorkel adventure, however we decided that grabbing the beach chairs and staking our claim was a better idea!
Our captain, after getting everyone on the snorkel adventure offered us some adult beverages that were cold, Small glasses but packed a lot of punch! They also had Beer as an option. We enjoued the private beach with a few others who didn't snorkel. The crew began to cook lunch, it was a spread, Fish, chicken, burgers, Salads, Beans & rice.(I can't believe I didn't take a photo!!)
After lunch we all boarded back on the Excellence and off we went to continue our adventure around the entire island! We stopped at the Marina to see all of the Yachts OMG Beautiful!!
Returning back to port around 3pm. Yes it was all day but 100% worth the price, with drinks and food and the service was amazing! we tipped the crew very well for there work!!
Goodbye Antigua we will be back!!!!
